Dr. Shariff is a board certified Otolaryngologist with extensive private practice and academic experience. He has served as the head of surgery and head of ENT at multiple facilities. He co-founded and built several successful healthcare ventures prior to starting Physicians Angels in 2007. Dr. Shariff was a founding board member of a non-profit think tank, and has helped to raise millions of dollars to fund research and policy creation. Dr. Shariff envisioned, designed, and assembled Physicians Angels’ Virtual Medical Scribe concept, and has been intimately involved with every detail of the company since its beginning.
Kevin manages the day-to-day operations of Physicians Angels and training of its staff, oversees investor and customers relations, and promotes the company. Brady has over two decades of government and private sector experience, recently having designed and implemented large-scale economic development projects with the U.S. Department of State. Before joining Physicians Angels, Brady specialized in international diplomacy, economics, and project management in Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Tyler is an expert in the field of healthcare with over 12 years of experience in communication and marketing (written and digital design), traditional and social media marketing, and sales experience. Tyler brings to Physicians Angels an understanding of all segments of the healthcare market, from large complex healthcare organizations to solo practitioners. Through this experience and diverse background he understands the impact of changes and trends within the market and how those changes can both negatively and positively affect the productivity and longevity of a practice. Tyler has a B.S. from Wittenberg University and an MBA from Ashland University.
Naheed has over 10 years of experience in the energy and healthcare industries. She is skilled in financial budgeting, planning & forecasting; peer/competitor review; market research/analysis and financial modeling. Naheed has worked for Marathon Petroleum Corporation, CMS Energy, GE Capital and, most recently, Welltower. Naheed comes to Physicians Angels with an MA in International Finance from Columbia University in NYC, a BA in International Economics from Georgetown University in D.C., and has completed Level 1 of the CFA exam.
Zakir brings to Physicians Angels 20 years of high-level management experience, including more than 10 years managing out-sourced healthcare services. Before co-founding Physicians Angels, Zakir was the Head of Operations at BreakThrough Technologies – a healthcare business process outsourcing company – where he built a team of 500+ employees. As Director of Operations, Zakir is responsible for the development, design, and improvement of Physicians Angels’ service lines. In addition to establishing delivery and quality control standards, Zakir oversees staffing, hiring, and training.
Mohammad has 20 years experience in business management, consulting, sales and marketing, and customer support in the IT industry in the United States. He has planned and implemented complex software and hardware solutions for medical and dental offices throughout the U.S. Chief among his responsibilities is developing a regional network of IT specialists to provide on-site solutions to the EMR data management and IT challenges confronting Physicians Angels’ clients and partners.
Khalil has been in healthcare for over 10 years as a consultative account manager for multiple pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. He is highly regarded by prominent physicians and opinion leaders for product, disease-state expertise, and patient education, working with many different specialties over a large geographical area. Khalil has extensive experience managing sales and customer service operations and teams.
