| Patient Scheduling Report | The office never closes. Patients can schedule appointments at any
time of day. Angels are tied into the office's practice management software/scheduling software allowing for around the clock scheduling. |
| Physicians Digital Assistant(PDA) | Angels Enhanced 24 hour service provides Doctors more robust
protocols to manage incoming and outgoing calls. Doctors receive
messages with details that only Angels can provide since they have
access to the EMR. Angels provide secretarial services allowing
doctors to relay messages, and transcribe notes on patients who call
and do much more. They are a doctor's 411 information service, like
OnStar*. |
| Preview Medical Record Charting | A patient's office visit starts at home or in the waiting room. Angels
call patients at their homes and generate the data needed for the chart.
The history of present illness (HPI), medication history and other parts
of the record are completed prior to coming into the exam room. If
they arrive to the office without it being done, an Angel-assisted checkin
kiosk will capture their details. Also any test results or letters that
are required for the visit will be known in advance; and every effort will
be made to have them ready. |
| Fax & Document Management | All documents are digitized and filed accordingly. |
| Examination Room Record Management | In the exam room, Angels enter data into the EMR. Angels are trained
to identify the ICD and CPT codes from the context of the visit. Angels
will code and bill the visit. They are able to generate a letter based on
the conversation and stored templates. Doctors will dictate less and
would review and edit the work at the end of a shift. Doctors can focus
on delivering care and not on doing paperwork. |
| Follow Up Calls | After an office visit or surgery, Angels can place follow up calls to check
on a patient. |
| Portable Health Records | Angels can upload a patient's records into an Internet-based personal
health record. Patients requesting the service would pay the practice.

| Insurance Management: Coding Billing Authorization Accounts Receivable | Angels specialize in communicating with the insurance companies.
Many offices cannot designate an employee to be their Aetna caller
and another to be the Blue Cross caller. Angels are specialized to
a specific insurance company. For example we have a Blue Cross/
Anthem ENT Angel to help facilitate pre-authorizations and account
management. Coding, billing, and accounts receivable are managed
with complex cases being referred to the Angel with the highest level
of expertise. By uniting many offices in an Angel network, offices will
learn to work better with insurance companies. |
