Dr. Afser Shariff founded Physicians Angels, Inc. to provide medical practitioners with easy-to-use and cost-efficient staffing solutions. Physicians Angels, Inc. has continued to double in size every 4-6 months, and we continue to seek additional capital and build partnerships to meet greater-than-expected demand for our services.

Our virtual medical staff – “Angels” – perform services that do not require more expensive, ‘hands-on’ staffing. We group our Angels by medical specialty and deliver our services via employee leasing arrangements. This allows our Angels to develop strong working relationships with medical practices and ensures a consistent level of quality service.

Among the core tasks our Angels perform:

• Transcribe patient visits for doctors in real time using VoIP software.

• Document clinical information and help with prescriptions by interfacing with a medical practice’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software in real time through VPNs.

• Manage and archive data using a practice’s existing IT systems.

Physicians Angels also provides customized document management services with our EZ Scandocs product line, as well as customized transcription and software services.

Doctors who use our services earn on average $50,000 more per year and save 5-10 working hours per week, improving the quality of life for doctors and their staff.

From 2007-2010 we developed and tested our services successfully in multiple medical offices throughout the United States. We launched late 2010. Demand to date continues to exceed our initial projections. Our primary market is the thousands of medical facilities in the U.S. in need of more efficient and affordable personnel. Our estimates show the global market for our services – including English-speaking health care markets, such as Canada and India – could generate $9 billion in annual revenue.
